Terms of service
These terms apply to your use of the Daftar app, operated by Codelume (Elie Mattar, sole proprietor), based in Naameh, Chouf, Lebanon ("we", "us"). By using Daftar you agree to them.
What Daftar is
Daftar is a tool for recording the credit your customers take and the payments they make. It is a notebook, not a bank: Daftar does not lend money, hold money, process payments or collect debts. Any agreement about credit is between you and your customer.
Your account
- You sign in with a phone number you own. Keep your phone secure: anyone who can open the app on it can see your records.
- You are responsible for what happens in your account and for the accuracy of the records you enter.
Using Daftar fairly
- Only record information about your customers that you need to keep track of credit, and use it lawfully.
- Do not use Daftar or its reminders to harass anyone, or for anything illegal.
- Do not try to access other people's data, or to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
Price
Daftar is currently free while it is being tested. If we introduce paid features, we will tell you in advance, and you can choose whether to use them.
Testing period
The app is still in testing. Features may change, and there may be bugs. Daftar backs up your records, but please check important balances, and tell us about anything that looks wrong.
Our responsibility
We provide Daftar "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by wrong records, exchange-rate choices, interruptions of the service, or disputes between you and your customers. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Lebanese law that cannot be limited.
Ending
You can stop using Daftar at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. If we ever stop offering Daftar, we will give you notice and a way to get a copy of your records.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date above, and tell you in the app if the change is important. Continuing to use Daftar means you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon.
